Necklace with genuine Megalodon fossil tooth. Tooth is 1 3/4" x 1 1/8". Natural waxed cotton cord adjusts 20"-22". This is a fossil from approximately 33 million years ago. Species is Carcharocles Angustidens, this fossil was collected at a site in South Carolina. I do not do any modern day taxidermy jewelry as I do not find it ethical. I only use fossils from time periods humans were not even around. Fossils do not contain any "organic tissue" since they have all become stone in the fossilization process.
